Join us this Sunday in a special Zoom worship service to honor all those who work at jobs that allow us to receive goods and services. Our guest speaker will be the Reverend David Breeden, the senior minister at the Unitarian Society of Minneapolis. His sermon (previously recorded) entitled, “Putting Labor Back into Labor Day,” won a UUA award for Best Sermon. His message is very personal as he relates how his father’s membership in a union enabled his family to escape from poverty and attain some of the benefits of the American Dream.
Members can join the service on Zoom at 9:45 am to chat before the service and participate in the Zoom coffee hour immediately after the service ends. Amanda Piburn will host the service. Hope to see you there!
