There are many folk and forces all around who make their living distracting the rest of us from what really matters.
Whether it’s what team to support, what brand of deodorant to buy, where and how to vacation, what car to drive, where to live, to go to school, to work, we regularly encounter a barrage of information all requiring our full and immediate attention every day! Or at least that is what they want us to think.
That’s not to say that such things are completely unimportant. It’s just that there are things that matter more, much more!
Figuring out what really matters and making those fundamentals the priorities where you put most of your time and energy will lead to less anxiety and more contentment.
So what really matters? Hmm. Sounds like another reflection . . .
In wisdom, grace and hope,
Rev. Ruth
