Deidre Price, professor of English at Northwest Florida State College and Managing Editor at the “Blackwater Review,” will give the Sunday perspective on August 14.
Ms. Price’s talk, “Outsiders and Others and Me, Oh My: How We Serve One Another with our Stories,” will focus on “how we are empowered and can empower others with transparency and authenticity in our own lives, no matter how messy our stories may be.” Ms. Price’s message will resonate strongly with Unitarian Universalists who know first hand how freeing it can be when they are able to share their personal stories in the Second Hour small discussion groups.
