I have been at the Fall Conference of the Liberald Religious Educators Association (LREDA) all week, in Birmingham. I keep my membership in this organization current because I learn so much that boosts my ministry and helps me contribute ideas and resources for our own religious education program. When I heard they were meeting in my neighborhood, I was delighted to join them.

Religious Educators are creative, caring, committed folk! If you haven’t told our own Sarah Ford how much you appreciate her, do it when you see her next. Our kids’ RE program is vital to our ministry and our fellowship life! Also, thank our RE volunteers! They are splendid folk and do so much for us!

AND what a great 2nd Hour program we now have going for adult RE! Thanks to Shar Farley and all those volunteers. Learning is a life-long pursuit!
