This month’s recipient of Share the Plate is Opportunity Place.

Opportunity Place, Inc., is the only low-barrier temporary emergency shelter for families and single women who are homeless in Okaloosa and Walton county. They provide safe shelter and supportive services for the chronically homeless and for those experiencing homelessness due to a negative event or situation that occurred in their lives.  They assist to help these families find permanent housing and the resources they need to be self sufficient. (source: https://opifwb.org/)

Our Sunday service is free to all members and seekers, and making the service happen requires funds.  We are entirely self-supporting, and we rely on the pledges and donations we receive.  We encourage everyone to engage in the spiritual practice of generosity through the giving of your time, talents, and financial resources.  THANK YOU!
