Hello, friends! Your Communications Chair, Steve Harris-Dixon here.

As many of you know, my husband Christopher is in the United States Air Force. With a military career often comes changes of location, and our family is no exception; we’re moving to Virginia next week.

I plan to stay on as the Communications Chair through March or April so we have sufficient time to find a new Communications Chair with whom I will work and train in so far as they need me to.

In the meantime, the next two or three weeks are going to be focused almost entirely on our move and finding a place to live. I ask for patience if and when you need to contact me about communications issues as my internet access will be more limited than usual.

During the two years of living in Fort Walton Beach, the six months or so we were able to attend the UUFEC was the highlight of our experience. We quickly made new friends and began to form a new community- something for which we’ll forever be grateful.

We’re going to miss everyone, and I’m going to try to pop into the Zoom Coffee Hour after we move so we can stay in touch.
