“It’s Easy to Eat Green” Bring a Sustainable Snack on July 28!!
Contrary to what Kermit the Frog said, being green doesn’t apply to eating “green.” Participate in our “Sustainable Living” worship service, July 28, by bringing a finger food to share from one of these choices: organic seasonal fresh fruit/ vegetables; organic dairy products (eggs, cheeses, yogurt); mini sandwiches with filling made from grass-fed animals raised in humane conditions; organic nuts or other plant based food; or muffins/ bread made with organic ingredients, or fair trade chocolates. You get the idea!! On a small card accompanying your food item, please describe in one sentence why your food choice can make a difference in reducing our carbon footprint!
